This is some text inside of a div block.

Acast is committed to empowering all podcasters in Ireland to discover their audience and make money from their craft on their own terms, irrespective of their size or location. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we have delivered creators returns of €7 million* from Irish podcast sales since launching locally at the end of 2019. Here in Ireland, we are home to some of the biggest podcasts, including The Blindboy Podcast, The David McWilliams Podcast, The Tommy, Hector and Laurita Podcast, Catch Up with Louise McSharry, The Witness, I’m Grand Mam and The Stand with Eamon Dunphy, In fact, all our podcasts combined now boasts more than ten  million monthly listens in Ireland.

Acast Amplifier

However, it’s not just our biggest creators that are feeling this benefit. Last year, we launched our hugely successful Acast Amplifier programme in Ireland to champion brand-new creators. This means, alongside developing our innovative and world-class products, the €7 million in advertising revenue has helped all of our podcasters retain full creative and commercial control of their podcast brands.

Award-Winning Shows

Our offerings in Ireland are varied. For example, Acast works with the multi-award-winning The Witness: In His Own Words - the sensational podcast based on Nicola Tallant’s best-seller The Witness. Produced by the team behind The Stand, The Witness: In His Own Words tells the story of Joey O'Callaghan, the youngest person ever to enter the Witness Protection Programme in Ireland. The podcast has gone on to win three Irish Podcast Awards, amongst others.

We are fiercely proud of our Irish voices at Acast. We are home to Ireland’s biggest, best, and award-winning podcasts,, from the aforementioned international podcast superstars like Blindboy and Tommy, Hector & Laurita, and renowned authors including Caroline Foran and Finn Dwyer to broadcast legends like Louise McSharry and Síle Seoige and some of the biggest Irish news outlets. The €7 Million figure is a testament to the hard work all of our creators put into creating these incredible podcasts.

Since 2014, Acast has been on a mission to create the most valuable marketplace for podcasters, no matter their size. We launched in Ireland five years ago to continue that mission, and with the help of a team based throughout the country, it’s clear that we are well and truly on the way to achieving this objective. This money has come from investments in the Irish podcast market by agencies, brands and listeners, and it’s incredibly rewarding to continue to develop our strong relationships in Ireland and help our creators flourish.
