Acast teamed up with Appliances Online to support the launch of Australia’s hottest new chat show, The Mitch Churi Chat Show.

As the official launch partner, Appliances Online was woven directly into the podcast from day one – across video, audio, social, press, and even in-person at the launch party.

The goal was clear: build brand awareness at scale, showcase Appliances Online’s Legendary Service and product range, and do it all in a way that felt natural, entertaining, and true to Mitch’s warm, relatable voice.

Sponsorship

To kick things off, Appliances Online became the podcast and YouTube sponsorship partner for The Mitch Churi Chat Show, with bespoke host reads developed directly from the campaign brief. Two core messaging integrations ran across September and October, supported by dedicated Black Friday and ‘20th Birthday Sale’ videos – ensuring Appliances Online stayed front of mind during key retail moments.

These integrations appeared seamlessly within episodes featuring headline-making guests like Tyra Banks, 5 Seconds of Summer and Trinity the Tuck, aligning the brand with culturally relevant conversations and must-watch moments. Whether audiences were watching on YouTube or listening via audio platforms, Appliances Online was consistently and authentically present.

Social

Social played a key role in extending reach beyond the show itself. Eight Instagram Reels and 18 TikToks were rolled out to Mitch’s highly engaged audience across both his personal and podcast channels.

Each piece of content featured standout moments from celebrity interviews, with Appliances Online branding front and centre to drive strong recall and association.

Giveaways

To drive deeper engagement, a series of highly desirable giveaways brought the partnership to life. With prizes including a Sunbeam Coffee Machine, Dyson Airwrap™and Ninja SLUSHi, each giveaway encouraged audiences to comment, tag friends and share their own stories – reinforcing Appliances Online’s breadth of products in a fun, culturally relevant way.

Event

The launch of The Mitch Churi Chat Show was celebrated with an event that captured the energy of the podcast – complete with disco balls, live tarot readings and signature cocktails themed to the show.

The night brought together some of Australia’s biggest names in media and entertainment, including Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley (Life Uncut), Emily Weir (Home and Away), and respected media figures such as Angela Bishop, Edwina Bartholomew and Richard Reid.
