Acast broadens its presence in Europe through a strategic partnership with Azerion

This is some text inside of a div block.

Press Release

Acast has reached a strategic agreement with Azerion, one of Europe's major digital advertising and entertainment media platforms, to strengthen its presence in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Greece. Under this agreement, Azerion will work with agencies and brands to assist them in planning and executing their audio advertising campaigns on Acast's podcast network. Azerion will manage both direct and programmatic advertising sales at a local level.

This strategic agreement will fuel Acast's growth in regions where it doesn’t have a physical presence or is in its early stages, yet has sustained attention from a diverse array of creators and advertisers. By partnering with Azerion, Acast will benefit from Azerion’s local expertise, while maintaining direct sales for international campaigns. The collaboration will combine Acast’s podcast hosting and monetisation skills with Azerion’s strong sales force and deep local market knowledge.

Speaking of the partnerships, Megan Davies, Acast's Managing Director, International, states, “As we achieve milestones in markets like Spain with six million monthly listens and continue steady growth elsewhere, the rising demand from creators and advertisers underscores the importance of strategic partnerships for localised expertise. Azerion's sales and market strategy experience positions them as the ideal partner to enhance our reach and podcast monetisation potential.”

Hannane Harrabi, Senior Director Enterprise at Azerion, expanded further to say “We’re excited to partner with Acast, a key player in the podcast industry. This partnership aligns perfectly with our goal to deliver diverse, high-quality audio content across the globe. Together, we're set to revolutionise the way audiences engage with podcasts and how publishers monetize their audio inventory.”
